These monsters - chupakabrasy (from chupar - suck and cabra - goat) - appear as coming from a nightmare. For several decades, scientists wondering what species, family or even the class attribute these creatures - eaters of cattle in Latin America.

Where did they come from? Are the whim of nature or the result of genetic experiments? Hypotheses about these horrible creatures set, the authors of some of them just talk about vampires and werewolves. And then the old legends are presented in a completely new, real-world ...
So, how did it all begin? In 1967, one Puerto Rican family farmers stated that their corral was attacked by a pack of wolf-killers who slaughtered many sheep. Even a cursory examination of dead animals showed: need more careful study of this incident. In sheep, there were injuries on his body, quite unlike the ones that leave predators, especially wolves. Much more, they reminded their depth and precision, surgical incisions. In addition, all the bodies were completely devoid of liquid. That is, one could conclude that the animals died from blood loss. Who did it?

In the Latin American press described the many cases where local residents met strange creatures, some of the meetings ended in tragedy, in other people managed to get rid of one chupakabras their appearance. They are described as stunted humanoid animals with large heads and large, wide-open black eyes, a robust and emitting a disgusting, sickening smell exactly the same as the Bigfoot of the Rockies. Between 1987 and 1991, reported more than fifty cases of collision with the strange two-legged creatures, which often ran away, but sometimes, on the contrary, assaulted the people. Meanwhile, in Puerto Rico occurred literally collapse meetings and UFO sightings. Itself begs the version of the relationship between these creatures and unidentified objects. But at the same time, there is an obvious similarity between the monsters from newspaper reports and those who today call chupakabras, their appearance with UFO arrivals do not coincide.
A large amount of accumulated evidence has allowed scientists and amateurs to put forward the hypothesis of the existence and behavior of the predator, not included in the scientific classification. The curious fact that, despite more than a speculative acquaintance with chupakabras, many somehow believe that this animal is a type of African bat-vampire, whose appearance has changed for unknown reasons, while - in full (for all kind) or just in some cases.
The most lively of those who took up this theme, hastened to show on TV the bodies of animals completely deprived of blood, which led to the emergence of the term "chupakabras.
